InterNational Downshift Week was created by Tracey Smith, a specialist writer and broadcaster on sustainable living, and author of The Book of Rubbish Ideas. She was made an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts for her book and work promoting simple, green living at grassroots.
