Gaillard is a French comedian born in Montpelier in the South of France.
He’s noted for his pranks which began after he lost his job in a shoe shop. He says that with his spare time he decided to ‘Have Fun’.
He’s been arrested several times and is mostly famous for his YouTube posts. To our knowledge, he has never had a professional TV programme – which is surprising.
He rose to fame disguised as a Lorient player in the 2002 Coupe De France final and from there has turned up at dozens of leading sports events, muscling his way in front of the camera.
His motto is: “C’est en faisant n’importe quoi qu’on devient n’importe qui” which means: “It’s by doing whatever that you become whoever”.
While I wouldn’t want to have him play a prank on me, watching him catch others is hilarious…
